Heading out to Nashville this weekend for the Tennessee Craft Show at Centennial Park. I am in booth B13, under my usual big oak tree behind all the food trucks. The show is laid out in a big loop around the park and this is the shadiest place. The Show runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 6, except until 5 on Sunday. Would love to see my Nashville friends and It looks to be a beautiful sunny and not too hot Fall weekend... so come out.
Come and joint me and 200 other fine artists at the show this coming weekend at Piedmont Park in downtown Atlanta. Beautiful setting, fantastic art and great food and music too, My booth is #133 on the side closest to the downtown. Many of my old students and friends have gravitated to Hotlanta...if this is you, I would love to see you and for you to see my new work.
I have been really bad about keeping everyone up to date and in the loop about where I am around the country. So, I thought I would just give you a schedule of the next few months so that you could know what city I will be in (on the road again-badly sung), so you might be able to come see me and my new work. 1st weekend in February (2&3) will find me heading down to the Sunshine State to exhibit at the Mt. Dora Festival of the Arts. 240 artists in a sweet little town near Orlando where they seem to bring in half the state to see the show. Last year it wast first big Award of Excellence for the year, which was greatly appreciated.....Staying at my favorite Air b&b with Medea and Allan... Two of the coolest people on the planet. If you are in the vicinity.... Would love to see you.
Shout out to everyone that has checked out this website this year. Sincere thanks and hopes for all of us to have a good 2014. This month I am back in my studio after spending five weeks in majestic Switzerland teaching some of the coolest students in the world and hanging with people that I truly love. First show coming up is February 1&2 in Mt. Dora, Florida. Last year this was a great show for me in which I won a major award....I am heading into my studio so inspired by my trip to Paris last week...there is just something about that place... You really do fall in love with it..... The colors, the rain the sounds... There is no place in the world like it.
This weekend-October 25-27 I will be in this show. It's at the Wittington Creek clubhouse, off Northshore Drive. Look for the signs- it should be well marked. Opens at 10 till 5 each day. Friday night wine reception till 8pm. Have done a bunch of new work. Would love for you to see it.
